AUSTRALIAN/CANADA EDUCATION SYSTEM

On a global scale, Australia/Canada offers an incredible education system with huge number of opportunities. The education sector in Australia is always evolving according to the needs of the students in different fields.

Educational sector is divided into four categories - Primary School, Secondary School, Senior Secondary School and Tertiary education.

  • Primary School: It starts from 7 to 8 years, begins from Kindergarten schools.

  • Secondary School: It runs for 3 to 4 years from the age of 7 to 10 or 8 to 10.

  • Senior Secondary School: It begins from 11 to 12 and runs only for 2 years.

  • Tertiary Education: It involves both Vocational education and training (VET) and higher education.

VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Australia/Canada is well known for offering the best learning in vocational and educational training. From an individual perspective, these VET courses enhances a person's focus and ability in a particular field like hospitality, building and construction, leadership and management.

AUSTRALIAN QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK

Established in 1995 by the Australian Government, the Australian Qualification Framework helps to make sure that the qualification titles across the country are consistent and represent the same high standards of education.

It includes all Australian qualifications with clear rules about the level of education each qualification represents. This provides many benefits to international students as they find the best course and institution suitable to their needs without wasting time understanding different qualification titles.

CRICOS REGISTRATION

As an international student, it is the responsibility of every individual to choose study from the registered institutions of CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). This government body is responsible for offering the international students with different courses who wish to study in Australia on the student visa.
